okay, a bigger taste....
I am still sure that I have to go back to this place! Create my own Bucket List and add: surfing, diving among other things. Surely, this is the place to do it!
We lived in Gemini Star Hotel in Poppies street, backpacker neighborhood no.1, there was a lot of people, a lot of sounds and at every corner people tried so sell you a bike ride, or "messhrums"(mushroom). Luckily we had our own private drivers who carefully drove us around on their bikes! Trude and Tina were already there when we came, and had no problems driving in the narrow streets:)
Bikes were everywhere, in the road, on the sidewalk, we even saw this girl driving in to a shop, knocking down the poor guys sunglasses! Safe to say, I were completely fine by being the passenger!
One tourist, together with the whole family!
Trude and Tinas green door! I kind of lost my sense of direction in this town, good to have some doors to look for:)
Trude on her bike
And there were many of them!!!!!
The security at one of the clubs, scary people
This place is owned by the local mafia, all tourists-free entrance, locals-50 rupies.....
The streets during the night!
The beach was beautiful, and clean! I`ve been to Thailand, and expected the same as the beaches there. At Koh Samet garbage was floating in the water, in Bali, nothing!
Local kids!
Surfers everywhere!
Spotted one dead fish, and of course, had to take a picture......
The sunset, from Kuta Beach....
Jimbaran beach, not far from Gateway college.
Woman, trying to make the bad demons in the ocean happy.
¨Gas-station¨for bikes.....
A nice cold bier at the beach with Stine:)
shopping.......
Self-portrait at Uluwatu temple!
The view from Uluwatu temple, populated by a bunch of monkeys, who were trained to steal your belongings. Of course, you would get it back if you paid the trainers.....
